I admit that I was looking forward to the launch of this smartwatch more than many other products from the electronics giants.
This is due to the fact that it’s practically the first gadget of this type with intelligent functions produced by a brand known for classic Swiss wristwatches.
For almost two years,I’ve been criticizing these manufacturers for their inaction on what’s happening in the smartwatch world, until this year they finally began to respond to my concerns.

Some by providing only a fitness module with a classic movement, others–like Tag Heuer–by creating a hybrid of tradition and modernity.
The new smart replicas watches is intended to appeal to young people who increasingly value modern features, while also not forgetting elegance.
It’s about continuing the spirit of style, prestige, impeccable mechanisms, accuracy, exclusivity, finish, and overall quality.
The marriage of American technology and Swiss precision is said to be what today’s watch world needs.
Intel,Google, and Tag Heuer are introducing the Connected model, which promises to transform the entire industry.
It doesn’t look like an electronic toy. It’s meant to be a watch and remain a watch.

This is what the brand prides itself on most.
The intuitive Android Wear operating system, which Connected will benefit from, was also praised.
After 155 years of the brand,we have reached another milestone in the segment.
At least that’s what Tag Heuer claims.I hope this is the important step the Swiss watch industry needed.
Glancing at your wrist to check the time is no longer enough.
We finally have what I was looking for:a blend of true smartwatch and impeccable style.
Smartwatches have been gaining in style and eye-catching finishes for some time now,but they won’t reach the level of Swiss design for some time(or will adopt it very quickly).
Tag Heuer has something that electronics companies that want to be associated with the watch market lack:prestige.

Tag Heuer has described its product as the most intelligent luxury watch in the world.
The Apple Watch aspires to this rank, but the Cupertino design can’t yet be classified in this category.
Perhaps in time it will surpass its capabilities and start setting trends, but not yet.
It’s true that it was one of the first to start a revolution, but we’ll have to wait and see the results.
Tag Heuer’s Connected models supposedly have a soul that the Apple Watch lacks.
Dial interchangeability is expected to be a key element of Tag Heuer Connected replicas watches
The clash between all the giant brands in the wearable segment promises to be interesting.
We’ll see who wins the battle–who will have a larger market share.

In essence, the Tag Heuer watch can be described very briefly:it has the capabilities of Android Wear with the quality of the classic models.
They tried to blur this line. This required a price.A monetary price.
That’s why the device is so expensive($1,500).What problem do I see with this?
#What about the rapid changes in technology?
And here’s the solution.
You’ll be able to replace the model after two years for a newer, still elegant one for a certain amount of money.
This is one of the major hurdles that had to be overcome.
They also promised extensive strap customization options, something that couldn’t be missing in a classic watch.
I won’t go into too much detail about Android Wear itself.
I’ll just point out that all its functions are inside(perhaps with the exception of GPS compatibility).
Fitness, app installation, and support for paired iOS and Android smartphones.
We can be sure of the original dials from many of the brand’s classic models.
I’m curious what display resolution was used to make the”analog”dial look sharp and clear.
Unfortunately,it’s not the highest.LG surpasses it in this regard.
Fortunately,it uses sapphire crystal and a special coating designed to reflect as little light as possible.
It’s also IP67-certified.

Finally,about durability.
We’re not expecting miracles.
It will last as long on a single charge as other Android Wear smartwatches.About a day Oh,and one more note.
The”Swiss Made”marking on the caseback is no longer engraved. It’s been replaced by”Swiss Engineered.”
Those waiting for a hybrid mechanical watch with a transparent screen and Android Wear OS will certainly be disappointed.
We’ll have to wait for that in the next generations.
