I have to admit that I associate Watches&Wonders with stress and hectic running from place to place more than with watches.
I don’t have enough time to really“sniff”each model, and I process what I saw and touched for weeks after the fair–in the comfort of my own home.
And Watches&Wonders 2025 didn’t offer me anything that would really knock me to my knees.
But such a result was somewhat to be expected–we are talking about the Swiss watch industry here.
An industry that is moving forward, but in slow, short and sure steps.
It doesn’t like to stumble.

Replicas Watches TankàGuichets
My absolute favorite:the Cartier TankàGuichets.
I didn’t include the TankàGuichets in my list because it was some kind of major, historically significant release.
It caught my eye purely because I love classic Tanks replicas watches and have a huge weakness for jump watch complications.
And the TankàGuichets combines both–in a way that only Cartier can do–with a good dose of French elegance.
So from a safe distance(knowing that I couldn’t afford one)I’ve been admiring vintage versions of this watch at various online auctions and flea markets for the past few years.
And now I finally got the chance to get really close to it.
And I have to say,they didn’t disappoint!
On the contrary, they were perhaps even nicer than I had hoped.

Some of you may argue that modern Cartiers do not have the same charm, the same quality as the handmade, unique pieces from years past.
For me personally, however, the higher consistency and quality of current watches is more of a positive.
I do not mind that they are one after the other.
On the contrary,it gives me confidence in their accuracy and reliability.
Cartier introduced a total of four versions of the TankàGuichets:three regular models–in yellow gold, rose gold and platinum–and one special version limited to 200 pieces, which is also in platinum, but boasts an asymmetrical arrangement of the windows with hours and minutes.
What else would I highlight about this watch–apart from the jump hour complication?

For example,I was attracted by the brushed finish of the front of the case with contrasting(hand!)polished frames around both windows.
Their legibility,by the way,is,well, not the best.
But for me,that’s just part of this watch.
The case size is a pleasant 37.6 x 24.8 mm and an even more pleasant 6 mm in height.
The last thing worth mentioning is the crown.
In this new version,it has been moved from the right side of the case to between its upper legs!
Only a few previous models of this edition had a similar thing, and it makes the watch a little more different from the classic Tanks.
