Vacheron Constantin introduced a new highlight to the Historiques collection in 2007 with the launch of the Chronometer Royal 1907,and on average.
The brand releases a new Historiques watch every year.
The following were the American 1921,the Ultra-fine 1955(with hand-wound movement)and the Ultra-fine 1968(with automatic movement),the Aronde 1954,the Toledo 1952 and the Toledo 1951.

The History of the Cioccolatone or Cioccolato Replicas Watches Case Shape
Vacheron Constantin had been using the“carre galbe,”a poetic term for a curved square case shape, for many years.
But the brand found a new icon in the 1950s:the Cioccolatone.
In Italian,Cioccolato refers to square chocolates, representing love between couples.
During this period,Vacheron Constantin’s round-cased Replicas Watches were usually in the range of 34mm-36mm.
However, with the same diameter, the square case would have a significantly larger dial surface than the round case,so it would look like a 38mm-40mm round watch on the wrist.
The Cioccolatone case can be recognized by the steps when viewed from above, along with the slight curve along the edges.
In short, collectors found the Cioccolatone case shape to be very delicate and sexy.

The Vacheron Constantin brand made a good first impression on collectors when releasing watches with Cioccolatone cases in ref.4821(inside is caliber 453),ref.4822(inside is caliber 454).
As automatic movements became popular in the 1950s,Vacheron Constantin also had some excellent movements suitable for the Cioccolatone case to offer its customers.
The most popular was the caliber 1019.Accordingly,the yellow gold model was the most popular.
Rose gold was rarer and white gold even less, with only two known examples.
As automatic movements developed,Vacheron Constantin upgraded the movement inside, equipping the caliber 1071 for the ref.6440,the caliber 1072(with additional date)for the ref.6440Q.
All of these models have stood the test of time and will be cornerstones in any future Vacheron Constantin classic collection.

Revisited in the 1990s
With the renaissance of mechanical watches in the 1990s,Vacheron Constantin looked back to its heritage for inspiration for new models.
Cioccolatone was an obvious choice, offering a unique case shape that is synonymous with the brand.
The Vacheron Constantin ref.42100,with its automatic calibre 1312(Girard-Perregaux base),measuring 32 mm x 38 mm,is representative of the period’s round-square Cioccolatone case.
The dial features an inner dial,a railway-style minute track, and raised Roman numeral and pyramid hour markers.
For women,Vacheron Constantin released the ref.31100 and its many variations(strap, diamond bezel, diamond markers),but all measure 30mm x 34mm and have the 1132 movement inside.

The Historiques Collection from 2003:The Toledo 1952 Replicas Watches
Vacheron Constantin returned the Cioccolatone to its original size in 2003 with the Toledo 1952.
A triple-complication calendar watch powered by a JLC automatic base movement.
There were three models in the initial offering:two standard versions in white and yellow gold, and a limited edition in platinum with a grey dial.
The Vacheron Constantin Toledo 1952 is a love letter from the Geneva brand to discerning collectors.
Inspired by the famous 1950 Ciccolatone rectangular case with rounded corners,Vacheron Constantin has created a new Toledo 1952 model with a triple complication calendar function and moon phase.
The watch is larger and more modern than the original.
Specifically, the distance between the two lugs of the Toledo 1952 is 41mm,which is equivalent to a 42mm round watch.
Vacheron Constantin is a master of style.
The details on the case and dial of the Toledo 1952 are very sophisticated.
The surface of the case is luxurious and elegant, while each step on the bezel is a highlight when looking at the watch directly.

Below the dial is the presence of the watch movement,a product of the Jaeger-LeCoultre house.
The JLC movement housed in a Vacheron Constantin case is a long-standing tradition that dates back to the early 20th century.
Both are Swiss watchmaking specialists.
From collaborating on ultra-thin models to now sharing the umbrella of the world’s second-largest luxury group,Richemont, the bond between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin continues.
In fact, this is how Swiss watchmaking has operated for a period of time:each brings to the table what they do best.
JLC provides the heart, and Vacheron adds the soul.
