For Hublot, the materials used are an integral part of the design of each watch.
These materials must complement the design while protecting the movement.
And for this latest collection,Hublot chose to use high-tech ceramic for the case and bezel, which is extremely sturdy and scratch-resistant,with a sintered zirconium base processed at very high temperatures.

Movement with 10-Day Power Reserve
The Big Bang Meca-10 Aspen One is powered by the manual-winding skeletonized power reserve movement caliber HUB1201.
This movement beats at 21,600 bph and has a power reserve of 7 days.
To showcase this extraordinary power reserve indicator,Hublot employed a unique and innovative approach.
Hublot successfully developed a new watchmaking construction in which the usual platinum is replaced with a long bridge mounted on the side of the ring as the movement base.
This approach, combined with skeleton components, gives the caliber HUB1201 a 3-dimensional effect and depth.
Both when viewed from the side and under the case.
